Why is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) different?

Indeed, the clue is in the name. Studies show that people who focus on positive outcomes fare better than those who obsess over life's curveballs. And who are we to argue?
I'll always listen to your story and concerns with care and empathy. But rather than spending long hours revisiting the past, my approach is to help you to rewire your mind to rewrite your future on your own terms.
🚀 It works (relatively) quickly
Many forms of talking therapy can last months or even years. SFH typically requires 8 to 12 sessions (although sometimes it can be more or less). Our goal is to get you feeling better, not keep you coming back for more.
🧑💻 You can do it in person or online
My clinic is on Church Street in Brighton & Hove, UK. Some people like being in the same physical space as their therapist. But hypnotherapy is just as effective online, which is great if you need to fit it in around a busy schedule. All you need is a decent internet connection and a quiet space.

✨ It uses the power of hypnosis
Forget Little Britain. Hypnosis is a very natural state. We all go in and out of trance all the time: when we space out watching TV, driving a regular route, even scrolling on our phone.
In hypnotherapy, we access trance intentionally through gentle relaxation techniques. And when we do so, we bypass the critical mind and access the subconscious, which is where the magic happens.
